A Family Wedding in the Poconos

We are home from the Poconos; a lovely Thanksgiving with lots of family and a perfect wedding. Diane and Dave were married on Saturday at the lovely 250+ year old Shawnee Presbyterian Church. The reception followed at the Shawnee Inn with a wonderful 5-course dinner and lots of mingling and dancing. It was a perfect day and a wonderful week for our family.

With the final wedding complete for 2008 we are looking forward to the holidays and a busy 2009. We are back home and preparing for the holiday season. We encourage our brides to take it easy in December and we follow our own advise. Our December schedule will be Tues-Friday, from 11am to 3pm. We will be checking emails and voice mails continually, but may be a bit slower in our response.

Don’t forget to support the Davis Boy Scouts and Brycen’s Troop 66. The Wershings will be working at the Boy Scout Christmas Tree Lot on Thursday, December 4, from 5-9pm and on Saturday, December 20, from 9am to 1pm. Come on by and say “hello” and pick up your tree, or if that time doesn’t work out come by anytime. Thanks for your support!
